| | Moods: I have found it! Finally, after years of wondering, I finally found that artist that I listened to when I was small. Weirdly enough I found it while looking for anime stuff. If you are wondering, it's Kitaro. It's a relaxing/calming/soothing New Age sound with traditional Asian instruments and melodies. Found out I really like New Age. Oh well. Stayed up late working on a paper, thinking it was a long paper (it was an analysis of a film production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night) and when I turned it in, I found out it was only two paragraphs. *headdesk* However, in the process of writing my paper, I have found out that I really like drinking Jasmine green tea and stir it with chocolate pocky sticks. And pudding milk tea. Funny how one learns little things like that. But I still don't like eating pudding by itself... Oo I have found the perfect topic for my informative speech in Public Comm. It will be about Dicrocoelium dentriticum. It's definative host is the sheep. Being a trematode, it has two intermediate hosts, one being a mollusc. The other one is a sheep and here is where the most interesting part of this parasite lies. Ants will ingest the cercaria that is left behind by the snail. The cercaria will then develop into a metacercaria, some of which will travel to the subesophageal ganglion and cause a behavioral change in the ant. During cooler temperatures, such as dusk, the ant will climb up to the top of the grass and hang there all night by its mandibles until the day warms up again. Why does it do this? Because that's when sheep graze, therefore increasing the chances of the parasite getting into its definative host, the sheep. Amazing isn't it? I think that's about it for now. And I really like Hainan chicken rice. Oh... so good. Must find a closer place than Savoy's. And I really want a Galak. Dark chocolate, whiteCan I give you a Galak?I haven't thought of thoseIn years.
