So here we are,... last day of the spring 07 semester, a week before graduation. Well, technically, 8 days before grad. Which reminds me... I want Banchis... *emails the parents to mail her some*
A lot has happened... and it's kinda weird that four years here at APU have flown by. What comes next... I ahve no idea... but I guess I better find out soon...
Highlights of the year, semester so far (a few out of the many)...
Luau 07 http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=apu+luau&search=Search See if you can spot me. I'm in virtually all the girl songs... >.> Luau was a blast and it was hectic and fun and busy busy busy and we all ended up with leftover shredded pork and chicken to last us week. Good thing it's heavily salted... it helps preserve it longer... right? Yeah... of course.
These are just the girl dancers... there's a whole heck of a lot more when you throw in the guy dancers and all the people who helped out as well. Crazy!
Canyon Hopping! http://apu.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2029301&l=f4468&id=56901118 Yes, I facebook as well... kinda. But during Easter break, my uncle, aunt and cousins rode down and we went canyon hopping, hitting the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. You might think... "That's a whole heck of a lot of rock,.." but when each one is so unique and different... Oh, it was beautiful and marvelous.
This past semester has also been one with more spiritual growth than one can shake a stick at. And while that sounds all fine and dandy... it also means falling flat on your face and wallowing in the depression and pity before God shakes you out of it and says, "Get up! You're made of stronger stuff than that." So for all the tribulations and trials and brokenness,... thanks. Because how else is one supposed to have a personal relationship with God when your own ideals/thoughts/rules are in the way?
Finals week is coming up and then comes Graduation. After that, who knows where I'll be. whether I'll be staying down in southern California or moving to the Bay area, it's all in His hands, is it not? Of course it is. It's a walk that takes you one step at a time. It's a struggle that you face day by day, person by person.
For those of you who I haven't talked to in a long time or who I've lost touch with... a huge hello to all of you. Thanks for reading.
